Privacy policy

AstroGuru uses the birth details, calculated chart, and chat text you provide only to generate the astrology guidance you request. The app has no user account and does not sell personal information.
Information processed
- Birth date, local birth time, place label, latitude, longitude, and UTC offset entered for a chart profile.
- The planetary placements calculated from those details in your browser and included with a chat request.
- Your questions, recent conversation context, and chosen astrologer.
- Basic technical request information handled by our infrastructure, such as IP address, device/browser information, timestamps, and error or security logs.
How the information is used
We use this information to calculate and display chart guidance, answer your questions, protect the service from misuse, and diagnose reliability problems. We do not use it for advertising and do not sell it.
Storage and retention
Chart profiles, preferences, and chat history are kept only in the current app or browser session; AstroGuru does not save them in a user account or application database. Closing or reloading the experience clears this session data. Infrastructure providers may retain limited technical and request data for security, abuse prevention, and service operation under their own policies.
Service providers
AstroGuru is delivered through Cloudflare Pages and Cloudflare Workers. Chat requests are sent from the Worker to the OpenAI API to generate a response. These providers process data on our behalf under their applicable data-protection and service terms.
Your choices
Do not enter another person’s birth details without their permission. You can clear session data by closing or reloading the app. You can also use the demo chart instead of entering personal details.
Children and professional advice
AstroGuru is not directed to children under 13. Astrology content is provided for personal reflection and entertainment; it is not medical, legal, financial, or other professional advice.
Contact and policy changes
For privacy questions, use the developer contact shown on AstroGuru’s Google Play listing. Material changes will be reflected on this page with a new effective date.
